Following a recent building collapse, local authorities have mandated structural audits for five additional residential societies. The directive, issued by the state's Town and Country Planning Director, comes in response to the collapse at Chintal Paradiso Society in Sector 109, Gurugram, earlier this month.

Given the potential threat to residents' safety, it has been decided to conduct a structural stability audit, assessing the quality of construction, including material ratios, steel quality, and other building materials. This audit for the towers in the mentioned societies will be carried out urgently by IIT Roorkee," the order stated.

A similar audit for Chintals Paradiso buildings is currently being conducted by IIT Delhi following the collapse.
